St Berchmans College (SB), Changanassery is a pioneer institution of higher education in Kerala. Estabalished in 1922, the college has grown over the years into one of the leading colleges with sixteen Post Graduate and seven Research Departments. It is run by the Arch Diocese of Changanassery, RCSC Community.

The College has been re-accredited by the NAAC with A+ level. SB has twice won in successive years, the prestigious R. Shankar Award instituted by the Government of Kerala for the best Arts and Science College. The University Grants Commission (U.G.C) recognised SB as the "College with Potential for Excellence"

Berchmans Institute of Management Studies is under the management of St. Berchmans College, affiliated to the Mahathma Gandhi University, Kottayam. The institute offers a two year full time Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) programme.The M.B.A couse is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
