Berchmans
Institute of Management Studies honours out standing
achievement in business every year. Such programs enable
Berchmans Institute of Management Studies’ outstanding
students to communicate with business magnets and discuss
matters of mutual interest. The entrepreneur award is
the highlight of the Berchnova. Berchmans Institute of Management Studies is the only
educational institution in this part of the country
which recognises the best entrepreneur of the state
each year. The best entrepreneur is chosen after conducting
an exhaustive survey of one hundred organisations. Screening,
personal interviews and a committee consisting of industrial
bigwigs and academicians narrow them to one. |

club ’Synergy’, intends to add value to the knowledge
base of the students specializing in finance. It exposes students

News Letter, Quiz, Sectoral Study, Budget Analysis, Portfolio
Management etc. |

club intends to prepare the students for corporate life. It
organizes on-going activities spread through the four semesters
with a view to develop, reading habit, industry knowledge, business
plans and understand different career opportunities in different
industries. The club also conducts weekly business quiz competitions,
industry presentations, industry visits etc. |

abilities through voice development exercises, body language

club ’Fortune’ intends to groom the entrepreneurial
acumen and to initiate, organise and manage the entrepreneur
qualities of the students. The main activities of the club include
identifying, evaluating and developing a business plan. It decides
on the resources required as well as on the compliance with
the legal and statutory requirements. |

objective of the club is to create awareness among students
with regard to environment protection and energy conservation.
It also tries to establish synergic linkage between institution
and the public at large and to support and facilitate the efforts
of related agencies. The club carries out environmental activities
in association with ENCON, KRL, Cochin. |
